The time has come to start saying goodbye to Lost Girl.

Syfy has announced a U.S. premiere date for the Canadian series' fifth and final season (no spoilers from you special people up north, pretty please!), so you can now go ahead and mark your calendars for Friday, April 17 at 10pm. That's when Season 5—which was expanded to 16 episodes and will air in two parts—will debut its first eight episodes, which will focus on Bo's (Anna Silk) attempts to rescue Kenzi (Ksenia Solo) from the underworld. And thank goodness, because as we all know, life with Kenzi is hardly worth living at all.

Also returning to Syfy on April 17 will be Canadian werewolf drama Bitten, which leads into Lost Girl with a two-hour Season 2 premiere from 8pm to 10pm. The series will then air in its regular 9pm timeslot beginning the following week, on April 24. In Season 2, Elena (Laura Vandervoort) and the Danvers pack will meet a coven of witches who could use their support. And if I get my way, Nick will be wearing his red pants in all 10 episodes.

Meanwhile, in "Syfy programming that's not imported from Canada" news, the network has also selected April to launch its newest original series, Olympus. A 13-episode mythological drama set in the world of humans, gods, and monsters, the series stars Matt Frewer (Orphan Black), Sonita Henry (The Fifth Element), Cas Anvar (Argo), and Graham Shiels (Guardians of the Galaxy) and "captures the dangerous courage of a few brave men and women who banished the gods to the realm of the unconscious," a.k.a. the underworld. Olympus will bow Thursday, April 2 at 10pm.
