After dipping its toe into original programming these past couple of years, Amazon Prime is plunging into the deep end as it brings a full five of its six pilot season shows to series, not to mention three children's shows and new seasons for Hand of God, Red Oaks, and Tumble Leaf.

New half-hour series include Highston which is executive produced by Sacha Baron Cohen and follows a 19-year-old whose penchant for imaginary celebrity friends disturb his parents (played by 24's Mary Lynn Rajskub and SNL's Chris Parnell) and delight his Uncle Billy (American Dad's Snot). The pilot features cameos by Shaquille O’Neal, Flea from The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and is written by Academy Award nominee Bob Nelson.

One Mississippi is loosely based on Tig Notaro's standup special, Boyish Girl Interrupted, and follows the comedienne as she returns to her hometown upon the death of her mother and "struggles to find her footing with the loss of the one person who actually understood her." Written by Notaro and Juno's Diablo Cody and executive produced by Louie C.K., One Mississippi promises to be as funny as it is heartbreaking.

Z: The Beginning of Everything stars Christina Ricci as Zelda Fitzgerald, nee Sayre, as she lives out the Roaring Twenties alongside her lover F. Scott Fitzgerald as one of the most tempestuous celebrity couples in history. According to Amazon's summary, "The Beginning of Everything dives into the fascinating life of a woman ahead of her time, an artist determined to establish her own identity in the tempestuous wake of a world-famous husband."

Amazon is also bringing two hour-long dramas to series with Good Girls Revolt and Patriot. Patriot is a political thriller following a spy suffering from PTSD as he takes a job at a Midwestern piping company to cover up his operation to prevent Iran from going nuclear. Good Girls Revolt takes place in the tail-end of the Swinging Sixties as a group of women, including Pitch Perfect's Anna Camp, at "News of the Week" make the revolutionary request to be treated the same as their male colleagues.

The shows will debut exclusively on Prime Video in the US, UK, Germany, Japan and Austria. Prime members will be able to instantly stream episodes of all shows online, on mobile or on connected devices with the Amazon Video app. Prime members can also download the series for offline viewing on iOS, Android and Fire devices at no additional cost. In addition to SD and HD, the series will also available in 4K Ultra HD on compatible smart TVs.
