A fifth Shrek movie could be put into production, according to DreamWorks.
The fourth feature-length movie Shrek Forever After was released in 2010, starring original actors Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz and Eddie Murphy, and was thought to be the final outing for the ogre.

However, DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg has now told Fox Business Network: "We like to let them have a little bit of time to rest.

"But I think you can be confident that we'll have another chapter in the Shrek series. We're not finished, and more importantly, neither is he."

Meanwhile, an attraction dedicated to Shrek has been announced for London.

Merlin Entertainments - the company behind the London Eye - has confirmed a partnership with DreamWorks Animation for a themed visitor attraction for 2015.

"This landmark attraction, which will transport visitors through a live interactive adventure featuring Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Puss in Boots and other favourites from the beloved franchise, will see an initial rollout of six attractions over nine years," the companies said in a statement.
