Masters of Sex and Ray Donovan have been renewed, Showtime announced at the Television Critics Association’s semi-annual press tour.


Both Masters and Ray Donovan will return for fourth seasons. In its third season returns, both shows grew on their previous season’s bow. Across all platforms, that equated to Donovan drawing 1.61 million viewers, and Sex bringing in 1.1 million.


In other Showtime news, the cable network ordered a pilot for Jim Carrey’s I’m Dying Here, chronicling the L.A. comedy scene, a limited series based on Patti Smith’s memoir Just Kids from Penny Dreadful’s John Logan, and an untitled pilot from Lena Waithe and Common set in the South Side of Chicago.
