With Get Out proving to be one of the big successes of the year, writer/director/producer Jordan Peele is continuing to leverage the opportunities that brings to help other people get their stories on to screens of all sizes. He's now producing The Hunt, a new potential TV series from writer David Weil.

Inspired by true events, the drama will follow a diverse group of Nazi hunters in 1970s America as they hunt down those who were given the help of the US government and embedded themselves in US society.

Peele's Monkeypaw Productions is working with Sonar Entertainment on the new series, which will be offered out to the various network, cable and streaming services. Given Peele's involvement, however tenuous, we'd guess this has a good shot of landing somewhere.

While he's also focusing on other movie projects for himself, Peele has also been producing a variety of small screen offerings, including Lovecraft Country, which he's working on with JJ Abrams and Misha Green.
