Jesse Eisenberg and Alexander Skarsgård are both already aboard new financial drama The Hummingbird Project. And now they're being joined by Salma Hayek.

The film is the latest from writer/director Kim Nguyen, and will be set in the high-stakes world of High Frequency Trading. Stocks and shares are traded in milliseconds and getting to a sale or a purchase first can be an incredibly tough call.

Two cousins, looking to capitalise on this idea, have a dream to build a fibre-optic cable between Kansas and New Jersey, hoping that it'll make them millionaires. Sounds easy, right? We'd guess not so much...

Hayek, last seen in The Hitman's Bodyguard, has Beatriz At Dinner (which screened at Sundance London), awaiting a UK release date.
