The actors appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to reveal the movie’s first trailer

Audiences are used to Tony Stark’s large ego, and now Robert Downey Jr. says he’s the reason that “Captain America” even exists.
“I feel partially responsible,” Downey Jr. said to Chris Evans during their mutual appearance on Tuesday’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” “[Evans] had a little bit of doubt coming into the Marvel Universe.”
“It was a big commitment,” Evans responded. “These contracts are six, nine movies long!”

“He’s not a guy that likes to be held down, ladies,” Downey Jr. joked.
The duo revealed the new poster and trailer for “Captain America: Civil War,” opening in U.S. theaters on May 6, 2016. Downey Jr. stars as Tony Stark, a.k.a. Iron Man, in the Marvel Universe, while Evans is Captain America. Marvel is known for making several individual movies for its characters before combining them in crossover films. Recently, Mark Ruffalo‘s “The Hulk” joined “Thor: Ragnarok.”
