HE famously starred in the worst movie ever made.

And now The Room star Tommy Wiseau has ‘auditioned’ for the role of The Joker, in a spoof video for Nerdist.

Wearing a purple suit and a full face of Joker-style make-up (including smeared red lips and white powder), Wiseau did an impersonation of previous Jokers ... from Jack Nicholson to Heath Ledger.

Wiseau, who inspired the James Franco movie The Disaster Artist, recites famous Joker lines including, “Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?”, and “Why so serious?” in the hilarious clip.

But it remains to be seen if Wiseau is a legitimate threat to Joaquin Phoenix, who is reportedly the frontrunner to play The Joker in the next big screen reboot of the sinister character.

Wiseau has had a comeback of late, after Franco’s Golden Globe-winning movie The Disaster Artist which documented his so-bad-it’s-good self-funded cult hit, The Room.

Wiseau appeared onstage, wearing his trademark sunglasses, with Franco when Franco won Best Actor in a Music or Comedy for his role as Wiseau at the Golden Globes in January.

Franco was famously snubbed from Oscar nominations after being accused of sexual misconduct.
