Last week, a US based magazine claimed that the newlywed couple, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, was headed for divorce. The report quoted a source saying that the couple has been fighting about everything of late...work, partying, spending time together. The report suggested that Nick and Priyanka rushed into things and now they’re paying the price. The magazine also went on to state that Nick’s family was begging him to end the marriage as they initially thought Priyanka was this mature woman, who was ready to settle down and have kids.

A famous online portal deflated the report as Priyanka’s representative confirmed that the magazine story was ‘nonsense’. A report on another portal quoted a source close to the actress claiming that once Priyanka makes up her mind to deal with the negative rumour-mongering, nothing can stop her. The source also mentioned that Priyanka will let loose her legal team on this news-manufacturing tabloid and ensure they get down to their knees.

On the other hand, Priyanka and Nick’s fans are treated with some interesting videos and pictures from their recent Miami holiday. They are seen enjoying marital bliss together with friends.

Also, a source close to the Baywatch actress rubbished the divorce rumours claiming that these are cooked-up stories just to create an unnecessary stir and sell copies. Priyanka and Nick are happily married. But it’s saddening to see how people are targeting the couple ever since they tied the knot. And if it was an April Fool’s prank, it was a terrible one for sure, reacted the source.

While Priyanka and Nick are reportedly planning to sue the publication with an expensive defamation suit. Back home Priyanka’s cousin, Parineeti Chopra, has also expressed distaste over the article. She’s stated that the story in question was terrible and that it is not for public consumption.
