Prison break: Sarah wayne callies' return officially announced
Sarah Wayne Callies is officially set to reprise her role as Dr. Sara Tancredi in FOX's upcoming Prison Break event series.
The Walking Dead and Colony actress will star opposite original series stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell. Here's an outline of the revival, courtesy of FOX:
"In the drama’s new chapter, which picks up after Michael’s apparent death, Sara has moved on with her life, raising her and Michael’s child with her new husband (previously announced guest star Mark Feuerstein, Royal Pains). When clues surface that suggest Michael may be alive, Sara teams with Lincoln to engineer the series’ biggest escape ever. Additional casting to be announced."
Just as the CW and Warner Bros. have agreed to let Miller and Purcell do Prison Break between Legends of Tomorrow seasons, Callies has worked out a deal to shoot between seasons of Colony, which USA renewed for a second season last month.
According to a recent report, original series cast members Robert Knepper, Rockmond Dunbar, and Amaury Nolasco are also in talks to reprise their roles as T-Bag, C-Note, and Fernando, respectively.
Prison Break will premiere during the 2016-2017 season.
