Pixar has just released new information about two quirky characters making their debut in Finding Dory. Ty Burrell and Kaitlin Olson will play an important role in helping Dory, played by Ellen Degeneres, find out about her past.

Set six months after Finding Nemo, Dory stumbles upon a marine rehabilitation center where she meets a beluga whale named Bailey (Burrell) and a whale shark named Destiny (Olson). Details are sparse, but Entertainment Weekly reported that the duo are an essential part in finding Dory's parents.

“My character isn’t great at his own sonar capability, and Destiny has trouble swimming straight,” Burrell told Entertainment Weekly.

“There’s always a deeper message with Pixar, and so much of it [in Finding Dory] is that these characters are trying to find faith in themselves,” said Burrell. “They’re trying to overcome their insecurities in order to help somebody in need.”

Bailey and Destiny seem to argue like siblings, although they're enitrely different whale species—"We totally get on each other’s nerves,” Olson said. “I like to think I’m a shark, but Bailey calls me a whale, and I make fun of his head, because it’s gigantic."

Finding Dory is set to release on June 17, 2016.
