Unbreakable's David Dunn (Bruce Willis) hunts Split's Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy) in the new trailer teaser for M. Night Shyamalan's Glass. The film will conclude the trilogy Shyamalan began in 2000 with Unbreakable, which features Willis as the (at first, unknowingly) super-powerful security guard Mr. Dunn. In one of his best twists yet, Shyamalan managed to keep a lid on the fact that last year's Split actually takes place in the same universe as Unbreakable ahead of time - and, thus, sets the stage for Glass to bring the films' characters together for a final showdown.

Speaking of showdowns - the Glass synopsis confirms the movie follows David as he pursues Crumb in an effort to stop The Beast: the superhuman personality that Kevin, who has Dissociative Identity Disorder, unleashed at the end of Split. Universal released a Glass trailer teaser yesterday that highlights The Beast and his enigmatic quest in the film, in turn confirming the full trailer's debut at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday. Fittingly, the studio released another teaser today that instead focuses on David and his own mission in the movie.

As the latest Glass teaser illustrates (see above), David is determined to stop The Beast from killing anyone else in the film, even if that puts him at odds with the authorities (who, naturally, don't believe him when he claims to be a superhero or "protector"). This in turn leads to David being locked up in an institution at some point, reuniting him with his old "friend" Elijah Price aka. Mr. Glass (Samuel L. Jackson) in the process. Based on the Glass images released thus far, Kevin ends up being captured and imprisoned with David and Elijah, along the way.

Although she doesn't appear in the flesh, Sarah Paulson can be heard in the new Glass teaser ,as her character speaks to David. The American Horror Story veteran is playing a therapist who consults David, Kevin, and Elijah in the film, in an effort to understand what makes them tick. Suffice it to say, she's in for a rude awakening once she learns the truth about these men: they really are comic book characters come to life, like they claim to be. Glass may even have shades of Willis' sci-fi movie 12 Monkeys, when it comes to David's relationship with Paulson's character.

Now that David and Kevin have both gotten Glass teasers, it's fair to assume Elijah will get a similar clip tomorrow. Whereas Unbreakable was primarily David's story and Split was about Kevin, Glass (as its title implies) will center around Elijah. The character has surely changed after being locked up for eighteen years and it should be fascinating to find out what he's after now. The Glass synopsis claims Mr. Glass holds secrets "critical" to both the heroic David and monstrous Beast, so tomorrow's Glass teaser should only further hint at what he knows that's so important.
