New digital supergirl ongoing comic series spotted on amazon

DC Universe's Supergirl is releasing a digital-first, ongoing comic series. The comic will explore what Kara Danvers is up to in between episodes of CBS's show, Supergirl.

The listing on Amazon, reported by Bleeding Cool, gives us a preview of what to expect, saying that the comic will tie "directly into" the show. Supergirl is the cousin of Superman, who also escaped their now-destroyed home planet of Krypton.


The digital-first comic has a listed release date in early August. There are no details as to who will be creating the comic.

Supergirl has had the biggest audience for a comic book TV adaptation debut this century, with 12.94 million viewers tuning in for the episode.
