Movie theaters have been given the all-clear to reopen next week in the state of Georgia. It's been just over a month now since the coronavirus pandemic forced stay at home orders to be put in place across the United States. These protocols included restrictions on gathering in groups, the shut down of gyms and parks, and the closing of restaurants and movie theaters. Large chains such as AMC and Regal were forced to stop their operations after first attempting to reduce theater capacity to 50% occupancy. America currently has experienced just under 800,000 cases of the disease with a total of over 42,000 deaths across the country.

We now know, via WSB-TV, that some of these coronavirus restrictions will be lifted in Georgia at the start of next week on April 27th. Governor Kemp announced on Monday that restaurants, theaters, and private social clubs will be allowed to reopen next Monday. This news comes in the midst of many states showing promise they’re flattening the curve in regards to the rise in coronavirus cases. Fears around a lack of supplies, such as ventilators, and the potential for exponential growth of the virus caused these drastic measures to be put in place. As different states are reaching their peak and starting to experience a decline in cases, some governors are already discussing and choosing to reopen.

Movie theaters reopening in Georgia is a sign of hope that things may get better sooner than later. Although the threat of the coronavirus is still a serious issue, if all goes well in Georgia, other states may also choose to lift their restrictions. Only time will tell, but for now, there is still the promise fans can get back to their regular movie going habits.

I have a feeling that they still don't get it Fresh but if they reopen everything, a second wave of the virus gonna be very nasty :/
