Battle of the shows...

What's your favourite Netflix original series? House of Cards? Orange Is the New Black?

Well, some new research has surfaced from independent analytics company Jumpshot, which means you can now compare your faves to the nation's faves.

Here are the results, based on which show was most watched during the first 30 days of its premiere.

Top ten most watched Netflix original shows

  1. Daredevil
  2. 13 Reasons Why
  3. Iron Fist
  4. Luke Cage
  5. Jessica Jones
  6. House of Cards
  7. Stranger Things
  8. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
  9. Fuller House
  10. Orange Is The New Black

So as you can see, Marvel's The Defenders came out on top, with 13 Reasons Why being the only non-Marvel show to make the top five.

The classics came close behind: House of Cards in sixth place, Stranger Things seventh, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt eighth, Fuller House ninth and Orange Is the New Black tenth.

Although Stranger Things didn't do as well as some may have hoped, it did have the lowest week-on-week decline in views.

And everyone really seems to love 13 Reasons Why – it was the first show to see its viewing numbers continue to rise every week.

But will the next series do as well? Kathryn Langford, who plays the main character, Hannah Baker, recently revealed a bit about what to expect, saying: "This season feels like a very different show, not just because of content but also just because of the approaches and precautions that we’ve had to take.

"We’re looking after the story as best as we can and trying to make sure that we put everything into place so that the audience can have the best experience possible."
