Solo: A Star Wars Story director Ron Howard takes the time off to catch Star Wars: The Last Jedi and based on his latest social media reaction, it appears that he liked the movie. We might be wrapped up with what goes down in the Rian Johnson-directed movie, but in just five months, another Star Wars film is set to debut. One that has more pressure to succeed on considering all the bad publicity and the seemingly insurmountable task at hand to introduce a new Han Solo that is not Harrison Ford.

Howard took over the troubled Solo movie starring Alden Ehrenreich back in the summer, with only three weeks left of principal photography. He replaced original helmers Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who, reportedly, did not get along with Lucasfilm big shots like Kathleen Kennedy and Lawrence Kasdan. Since then, it appears that the production has been smooth sailing – even though it seemed that Howard reshot a great deal of the movie – with filming already finished and all work is now moved to in the editing room.
