Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves marking your calendars for the Dec. 25, 2015 release of the fifth installment in the Mission: Impossible franchise. Paramount Pictures confirmed the Christmas Day release on Wednesday.

Tom Cruise will reprise his role as Ethan Hunt in the film, which will find the actor re-teaming with his Jack Reacher director Christopher McQuarrie. Drew Pearce, who co-wrote Iron Man 3 with Shane Black, is writing the script.

Mission: Impossible 5 will share the Dec. 25 opening with Kung Fu Panda 3 and the Warner Bros. feature Live By Night, Ben Affleck’s adaptation of Dennis Lehane’s crime novel. Even though Christmas Day is relatively open, the 2015 holiday release schedule has some formidable competition already on the schedule, including Star Wars: Episode VII, Sony’s Inferno, and Legendary and Universal’s Warcraft, all set for Dec. 18. Interestingly, both Star Wars and Mission: Impossible 5 are Bad Robot films, J.J. Abrams’ production company.
