Creed actor Michael B. Jordan will star in a remake of The Thomas Crown Affair for MGM.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Thomas Crown Affair remake doesn't have a director or writer attached yet. But MGM is happy with the results of Creed, so moving full steam ahead on the new project with Jordan.



The original Thomas Crown Affair came out in 1968 and starred Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. In 1999, former 007 actor Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo starred in a remake of the heist film.

This time, Jordan reportedly pitched the new remake to MGM.
