There are quite a few people that are rather excited about Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. Which is understandable considering that not only is it a Harry Potter spin-off, but that it looks utterly spell-binding, too. Now that we are less than a month out from its release, experts have started to make their predictions regarding Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them's box office haul. And it sounds as though the magical adventure is going to make quite a splash, as it's currently on track to gross $75 million when it's released in just a few weeks time.

That's according to Variety, who admitted that these are just conservative estimates from the studio. In fact, Warner Bros. is confident that once the advertising campaign begins for Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, and then really kicks into force with its reviews hitting just ahead of its release date, then more and more people will plan to go and see it.

There's another reason why Warner Bros. has decided to be conservative with their estimates for Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. Which are especially low considering that the final installment to the Harry Potter franchise - Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 -- took in $169.2 million over its opening weekend back in 2011.

But Warner Bros. decided to keep their figures down because while Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is set in the Wizarding World (which includes Hogwarts), it tells a brand new story, which is set around 80 years before the antics of Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Hagrid, and introduces a brand new set of characters, who are living in the United States. Total switcheroo.

Warner Bros. believe that the five year absence, and the movie's tenuous connection to the Harry Potter universe, means that they have to re-introduce the franchise to global audiences. But despite this approach, they're still very much aware that they have a booming franchise and universe on their hands.

So much so that they spent $225 million on the first installment and they've already ordered four sequels to Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, which, like the upcoming adventure, will be written by J.K. Rowling. Of course, Rowling authored the original guide upon which the film is based, while she also created and wrote every Harry Potter novel, as well.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them also has the added bonus of featuring the astounding acting talents of Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne (The Theory Of Everything) in the lead role of Newt Scamander, while its trailer suggests that both he and the film itself will be a whimsical delight. Superb. We don't have long to wait to see the real thing now, too, as Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them will finally be released on November 18.
