The greatest thing ever might be getting greater: The WWE Network may be adding a whole lot more content soon, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer.

Rumors have been circulating the past week that WWE was attempting to buy the tape library of TNA; in fact, the prevailing theory is WWE financed TNA's most recent TV taping cycle in Orlando in exchange for the rights to the library. Now, word is the plan is to expand the WWE Network to include a premium tier for $14.99 per month (instead of the usual $9.99), which would include newer content from TNA purchased as a part of the library, plus footage from Ring of Honor and various other independent promotions.

Other ideas being considered are live weekly NXT shows and a Cruiserweight Classic exclusive series featuring matches from that division.

In addition to the premium tier for the extra $5, WWE is also considering adding a free tier that would allow fans to watch the 24-hour streaming channel. Viewers would be blocked from seeing the biweekly PPV specials and NXT shows, though. Still, that's a pretty amazing deal.

There's also a potential $4.99 tier, which would give the viewer the free 24-hour channel but also allow viewing of the "Big Four" PPV shows (Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, Summerslam).

None of this has been officially announced, but it appears to be imminent based on a survey WWE sent to current subscribers, plus the promotion's aggressiveness in purchasing TNA footage and working with independent groups like EVOLVE and World Wrestling Network.

So, basically, Cody Rhodes could be back on WWE TV even sooner than expected. Wouldn't that be worth $14.99 a month to you?
