In support of the Time's Up movement, actress Margot Robbie is auctioning off tickets to the Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) premiere. One of DC's many upcoming movies, Birds of Prey will center around a group of all-women vigilantes in Gotham City, who are believed to be protecting the character Cassandra Cain from the villain Black Mask. The film will star Robbie as her Suicide Squad character Harley Quinn and be directed by Cathy Yan.

While the film is still a ways away, fans have already gotten a ton of information surrounding the upcoming DC project. Birds of Prey will be rated R and will also have a much smaller budget than other superhero films Warner Bros. has released. Birds of Prey will begin filming in early 2019, setting up the film for a 2020 release date. While the official synopsis has yet to be revealed, the cast has already started to fill out. Mary Elizabeth Winstead will play Huntress, with Jurnee Smollett-Bell playing Black Canary, and Ella Jay Basco playing Cassandra Cain. Also, Ewan McGregor will play the villain Black Mask, who is thought to be the main antagonist. Now that Birds of Prey has gotten an official title and Warner Bros. is generating anticipation for the movie, Robbie has decided to use that excitement for a charity.

Posting on her Twitter, Robbie is auctioning off two tickets to the premiere and after party of Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) with the profits being donated to the Time's Up legal defense fund. The tickets can be found on the TimesUp eBay, with the price currently being over $2,000 at the time of writing this article. Other items up for bid include tickets for Billie Eilish's 2019 concert and even a VIP tour of Capitol Records, but the Birds of Prey tickets are among the highest items up for auction.

The Time's Up movement was of course started in part due to the sexual abuse allegations against Harvey Weinstein. In the past year, several women and men have come forward with their stories about sexual abuse in the workplace, with many famous names in Hollywood being accused. While many of the accused have watched their careers crumble before their very eyes, other people involved with these now-tainted projects have chosen to donate their salaries to the Time's Up fund.

The Time's Up movement has no doubt helped a lot of people find the courage to speak out against their accusers, but 2017 was also a great year for women in Hollywood. The trend has continued this year, with movies focusing on stories of strong independent women, especially in the superhero genre. Fans may have to wait a little longer for Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), but it is good to know that Robbie has found a way for her film to support the Time's Up movement.
