Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn may be done debunking rumors about Vol. 2 until the sequel is released, but he hasn't stopped taking to social media to discuss the film's development.

Gunn has now revealed that the script is essentially done, and that the film will start shooting "in a couple weeks." Apparently, the cast got together just yesterday for a table read. Here are a couple of his recent posts:

Additionally, when asked by a fan if the film's post-credits scene is already written or will be dealt with later, the director simply responded, "Scripted."

The director also teased that a full cast announcement is coming "very soon."

We heard a rumor last week that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will bring in three new members to the crew, but as expected, Gunn has been mum on the matter. Guess we'll just have to wait until the movie is released on May 5, 2017, to know for sure.
