I really liked Firefly. Atm Im watching Stargate Universe

Boy there are so many. I have every Doctor Who on VCR tapes in one of my closets. I was going to scan them in, but I think people have already done that. Very good series and a massive number of eps to keep you happy for a good long while.

Star Trek (TOS) is obviously a very influential series. I've watched them countless times. Used to play Star Fleet Battles and even rewrite the rules to make them more in line with the actual TV show. What a geek I was (and still am I guess).

Firefly was great, but just didn't have enough eps to get that excited about (damn dolts canceled it way to soon).

But there are a few lesser known SciFi shows that you should watch. Like,

Blakes 7. It runs more like a Soup Opera, but it is a great show. And it has some very unique concepts for a show that is that old. I wish it ended better, but at least it ended with an ending (unlike things like Firefly). Plus it has enough eps to keep you entertained for a good while.

Red Dwarf. Probably the best SciFi comedy every in the history of SciFi comedies. Lots of eps and every one creative and funny. If you like SciFi and if you have never seen this show then go download it now. Then come back and thank me for telling you about it (and give me your FTN account to thank me).

If you liked Red Dwarf then there is also a more modern SciFi comedy that is also kinda of funny (not as good as Red Dwarf though, but worth the watch). Its called, HyperDrive. Its pretty funny too, but not enough eps. Though they might make more...still a slight chance.

Ok, that's all I can think off.

Ok, so to be clear I would say "Red Dwarf" was my favorite SciFi show. Though, of course, "Star Trek" has had more effect on me in other ways. But just for the show itself I really like watching "Red Dwarf".

star trek and now STARGATE

I am a scifi fanatic. I love Start Trek, Babylon 5 and Stargate the most, but Dr.Who has a strange appeal, because of it's unconventional approach to the subject.
