The most popular Hollywood stars of 2016 according to IMDb were Margot Robbie, Emilia Clarke and 12-year-old Millie Bobby Brown of Netflix’s “Stranger Things,” who also was the site’s No. 1 breakout star of the year.

The Amazon-owned entertainment site bases its annual rankings on page views of actors’ profiles from more than 250 million monthly unique visitors worldwide. IMDb doesn’t release actual numbers of views.
