Fox has severed its Love Connection.

The network has canceled the Andy Cohen-led revival of the dating series after two seasons. The show's second run in summer 2018 suffered sizable ratings declines.

Cohen announced the cancellation Wednesday morning during an interview on Howard Stern's satellite radio show.

Season two of Love Connection averaged a 0.5 rating among adults 18-49 and 1.6 million viewers — declines of more than 30 percent in both measures versus the first season in 2017. Delayed viewing didn't help much: Three days of catch-up only raised the show's ratings to 0.6 in the 18-49 demographic and 1.89 million viewers.

Love Connection was based on the syndicated series of the same name, hosted by Chuck Woolery, that ran from 1983 to 1994. It followed a similar format, setting singles up on dates and having them discuss their experiences with Cohen. Mike Fleiss (The Bachelor), James Breen, Jason Ehrlich and Martin Hilton executive produced.

Sources said that Fox is looking for another project on which to team with Cohen, the former Bravo exec who hosts the cabler's Watch What Happens Live talk show.

The cancellation of Love Connection leaves an open spot in Fox's summer schedule. The network has new seasons of Beat Shazam, Masterchef and So You Think You Can Dance on tap for summer 2019 — along with a six-episode meta-revival of Beverly Hills, 90210 featuring six of its original stars.
