LISA Armstrong has said that her Britain's Got Talent sacking "takes the p***" - and hinted that she is moving to Los Angeles.

The 42-year-old make-up artist has once again expressed her feelings through social media, liking a new series of outraged tweets after news that she'd been fired from the ITV competition broke.

One angry fan tweeted her: "No one knows what went on behind closed doors, but to lose your job due to a breakup takes the p***."

Lisa seemingly showed her agreement by liking the supportive message.

She then appeared to hint that she is considering a new career in Los Angeles, liking another message that read: "Guess what? The #moviecapitaloftheworld aka #Hollywood and everyone here in the United States would LOVE and appreciate your #makeupartist #talent!

"Come live here in sunny U.S. where we absolutely love #Brits! (And, bonus, you escape #Brexit drama!) WE [love] YOU LISA!"

Lisa is already thought to be spending New Year's Eve with friends in Los Angeles, and the social media like may be evidence that she is thinking of making the move permanent following the snub.

Lisa, who split from husband Ant McPartlin in January of this year, has worked on Britain's Got Talent for the last decade, but she is not returning for the next series as Ant is back as host.

After the news of her sacking was revealed, Lisa – who also works on Strictly Come Dancing – made it clear that she wasn’t happy with the decision and turned to social media to share her feelings.

When one of her followers asked whether she had decided herself to move onto "bigger and better things" she simply replied: "Nope".

She also liked tweets dubbing the sacking "unjust and unfair" as she admitted that she is "lost for words".

Filming for the next series of Britain’s Got Talent begins again in six weeks, and earlier this week The Sun exclusively revealed that Ant will be making his return to the spotlight on the show.

The 43-year-old Geordie favourite took an extended break from the limelight earlier this year as he recovered from alcohol and drug addiction.
