Marvel Team-Up! It turns out actors Jon Bernthal and Tom Holland shot audition tapes together in order to get their jobs as the new Punisher and the new Spider-Man, respectively.

According to the New York Daily News, the two were working on a film together in Ireland called Pilgrimage. And during that time they shot the tapes.

“We were making tapes from Ireland in the process of getting him cast in Spider-Man and then he and I made a tape for The Punisher,” Bernthal said.

“During this independent movie that we did in Ireland we were constantly making tapes for Marvel - just acting together,” he added. "These tapes definitely do exist, you can call Marvel and ask for it, but that’s like breaking into Fort Knox.”

Obviously they did something right. Bernthal will play the Punisher in Daredevil Season 2, which debuts on Netflix next week on March 18. And Holland, of course, is the new Peter Parker.

Cool, Hopefully will will get a Punisher and Spider-man tv/movie crossover some day just like we did in the comics.
