Pouring salt in the WWE's current "injured list" wound - that already includes big names like Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, and Cesaro - John Cena underwent shoulder surgery today. Per Cena's own tweet from yesterday...

So what does this mean for the next few months? Well - barring a miraculous (and not out of the question) super-Cena healing process - this injury (which is rumored to be either a torn rotator cuff or a torn labrum) could mean that Cena's out of the WrestleMania 32 picture. As this type of procedure usually requires 6-9 months of aftercare and rehabilitation.

Granted, Cena hasn't been a huge part of WWE TV for the last two months due to his commitments as host of FOX's upcoming American Grit reality series, and had only just returned to ring action a few weeks ago. But Cena possibly missing WrestleMania is still a huge deal as the WWE is in need of marquee names to help fill up AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX.
