Jason Momoa responded angrily to Daenerys Targaryen's fate in the series finale of Game of Thrones. Momoa played the popular character Khal Drogo in the first season of Game of Thrones back in 2011 and returned for a cameo at the end of season 2. Drogo was the warlord of the Dothraki and spouse of Daenerys, who mercy killed him in season 1.

Last Sunday wrapped up season 8 of Game of Thrones and finally answered the question of who would rule the Seven Kingdoms. While the final season of Game of Thrones was arguably one of HBO's most anticipated returns, season 8 saw a lot of backlash from fans. The series finale was specifically very controversial because of the way it wrapped up the characters' story arcs. Some of the biggest complaints of the finale were that Bran becomes King, Jon Snow gets sent back to the Night's Watch, and that Daenerys' death seemed anti-climactic. Now, it seems like fans aren't the only one angered by Daenerys' final scene.

Momoa posted his reaction to Daenerys' death on his Instagram story (via CBR), and the great Khal was not happy. The first of the two short videos starts off with Momoa saying, "F*** you. F*** you punk" before he continues to yell and sigh as Daenerys dies and Drogo melts the Iron Throne. The full videos with Momoa's reaction can be viewed in the posts below:

While Momoa is clearly angry with the finale, he isn't the only celebrity that has voiced his opinion. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers also recently criticized the Game of Thrones finale, only he was mainly criticizing the fact that Bran was crowned the King of Westeros. Many people have been disappointed with this final season, but plenty of fans have also shown support for season 8. Author Stephen King enjoyed season 8 and the Mad Queen twist, while Seinfeld star Jason Alexander spoke out about the Game of Thrones finale backlash. Other people closer to the show's production, such as Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) and HBO President Casey Bloys, have supported the decisions made in season 8.

Even though Game of Thrones season 8 set records for HBO, there is no denying that many people are disappointed by how the series ended. In fact, one poll revealed that nearly 50 percent of fans were disappointed with the finale. The final season could have been improved in a number of ways, but Game of Thrones season 8 would have likely been a lot better if the story didn't feel so rushed. Writers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss were offered more episodes for the final season, and given the fan backlash, a few more episodes to wrap up the series would have probably been a good idea.
