Incredibles 2 will be available on digital and Blu-ray this fall. The highly-anticipated sequel, arriving 14 years after is acclaimed predecessor, proved to be one of this summer's biggest hits. Receiving positive reviews, Pixar's latest ended its theatrical run as the highest-grossing animated film ever made and earned over $1 billion at the worldwide box office. On the all-time domestic charts, it ranks ninth, topping Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight.

Given how well-received Incredibles 2 was, it's safe to say fans are looking forward to bringing the Parr family home so they can relive the adventure over and over again. The movie is still doing solid business at the multiplex (it earned $2.3 million in its tenth weekend), but Disney will soon be turning their attention to the home media release. Now, we know when Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and the rest will be in living rooms nationwide.

On Twitter, Laughing Place shared a picture of Disney's "Not So Scary" treat bag, which happens to be Incredibles 2 themed. There, it's revealed the film will be on digital October 23 and Blu-ray November 6. The release is perfectly timed for holiday shopping, and there should be a number of copies sold.

With the date now out in the open, it's only a matter of time before Disney makes an official announcement regarding the Incredibles 2 Blu-ray and what bonus materials will be on the disc. Pixar's Blu-rays are typically good for featurettes that detail the making of the movie, as well as roundtable discussions with the filmmakers where they talk about behind-the-scenes secrets. Given the nature of Incredibles 2, the Blu-ray seems ripe for some explorations on some action sequences, such as Helen's daring train rescue and Jack-Jack's humorous battle with a raccoon. It also wouldn't be surprising to see deleted scenes included as extras. For The Incredibles' home media release, the Jack-Jack Attack short film was there, so hopefully the team put something together depicting the baby's night with Edna Mode. The two definitely hit it off, so it would be amusing to see how their evening played out.

Besides the standard Blu-ray and 4K discs, retailers have already unveiled their exclusive packagings. As has become standard with the Mouse House, Best Buy has the official Steelbook. Target has a pair of their own with cool collectibles; one version includes a limited edition metal Jack-Jack action doll, while the other comes with a filmmaker gallery and storybook. Pixar fans have plenty of options to choose from, and fortunately they don't have to wait too much longer to bring Incredibles 2 home.
