SOME of I’m A Celebrity’s big name signings broke the bank this year, with ITV bosses splurging hundreds of thousands to secure them.

But who could be laughing all the way to the bank?

Celebrity PR Ed Hopkins told The Sun Online the actor could easily command a six figure salary.

He explained: “John is big name and he’s the right demographic.

“Bosses wanted him on the show for years so they’d have paid between £120,000 to £200,000 to get him on board.”

Noel Edmonds

The Sun exclusively revealed how Noel, who’s one of this year’s late arrivals, broke the show’s record when it comes to fees.

Noel got an incredible £600,000 for his stint Down Under, which could last just seven days if he manages to avoid being voted off.

Rita Simons

The former EastEnders actress won’t be sniffing at what she could bank for taking part.

Ed explained: “Rita is a big name, everyone knows Roxy from EastEnders and she’s perfect for the show’s demographic.

“I believe she would easily have commanded £80,000 to £100,000 for her three weeks in the jungle.”

Harry Redknapp

Hot on Noel’s footsteps, the former football manager managed to secure a bumper pay-day to take part.

The Sun exclusively revealed how Harry, 71, was handed an enormous £500,000 to slum it in the camp with his fellow celebs.

Malique Thompson-Dwyer

The Hollyoaks actor was pictured giving one of the tasks his all ahead of tonight’s launch show.

But it seems Malique could be on the show for exposure, not an eye-watering pay packet.

Ed added: “Malique was booked to pull in a younger audience and to give the campmates some eye candy.

“But seeing as he’s only 20-years-old, and this is his big reality TV break, he probably got offered around £15,000.”

Sair Khan

While she’s not as well-known as Rita, Coronation Street actress Sair Khan could still make enough cash to put down a deposit on a house from her stint in the jungle.

Our PR specialist explained: “By getting a popular character like Sair on the show, bosses know they’re going to get fans of the soap watching.

“Although she’s a good signing, Sair isn’t a household name yet which is why appearing on I’m A Celebrity could help her.

“I think she’ll have been offered around £40,000 to appear on the show.”

Nick Knowles

The DIY SOS star is a big money signing this year and banked a six figure sum to take part.

An insider told The Sun Online how bosses raised the figure to get Nick to sign on the dotted line.
Ed added: “Nick is a huge signing and will be worth every penny.

“He'll have likely been offered around £200,000 to take part on this year's series.”

Fleur East

The X Factor star made no secret of how badly she'd like to join the show.

And after her music career came off the boil, it might not have taken a lot to sign Fleur up.

Ed explained: Someone like Fleur is going to be great on the show and she will bring a lot to the camp.

But in terms of pay, she needs a publicity boost. Negotiations appeared to go on for a while but I would think Fleur would have been offered between £50,000 and £70,000.”

James McVey

The Sun exclusively revealed how the Vamps star had been tempted to join the show.

And Ed, who works as a celebrity publicist at Nusic London, thinks he would be in the higher pay bracket.

He said: “James is a big popstar and has a huge social following.

“He’s taking a break from his music career to take part and will bring a young audience to the show. For this I think he’d have been able to command a fee of at least £40,000.”

Anne Hegerty

The Chase quiz legend is already one of the dark horses of this series, with fans thinking she could surprise everyone and go all the way to the final.

So what could they have given the Governess?

Ed explained: “Anne is a household name with the demographic who watch I’m A Celebrity.

“She’s also big in her own right and would have likely been offered between £60,000 to £80,000 to take part.”

Emily Atack

The Inbetweeners actress was one of the first stars The Sun exclusively revealed as joining this year’s line-up.

But when it comes to her pay, our PR expert doesn’t think she’s one of the big earners.

Ed added: “Emily hasn’t got a huge amount to gain on the show unless she’s trying to rebrand herself – moving more from films and acting into being a celebrity.

“It could be as low as £15,000 but with her sex appeal and bubbly personality, she could have demanded a higher salary of around £40,000.”
