Hot Tub Time Machine 2 brings back (most of) the cast, the writer and director of the original for a sequel that will take the titular time-hopping luxury item on a more bodacious journey than the first film.

From previous trailers and winking footage like the Patriot(s) Super Bowl spot, it’s clear that this time around, Lou (Rob Corddry), Jacob (Clark Duke), Craig Robinson (Nick) and new addition Adam Jr. (Adam Scott replacing John Cusack) will be hopping backwards AND forwards through time – not to mention sidewards into alternate dimensions, a la Fringe, which is not-so-coincidentally name-dropped in the clip..

The premise of the first film was silly, but the comedy was relatively on-point and sharp in its raunchy look back at ’80s life. Given the talent and chemistry of the cast – which only improves with new additions like Scott (Park and Rec) and Gillian Jacobs (Community) – one would expect that HTTM2 will be able to use the increased scope of its time travel premise to flex much bigger comedic muscle.

Hot Tub Time Machine 2 will be in theaters on February 20, 2015.
