Here’s your first look at “Homeland” star Rupert Friend as the suited hitman in director Aleksander Bach’s “Agent 47,” a supposed “re-imagining” of the videogame franchise and the 2007 movie starring “Justified’s” Timothy Olyphant. I’ve seen the 2007 flick a couple of times now on TV, and it actually holds up pretty well. I’m honestly not sure why Olyphant didn’t become a big movie star after that, or why the movie wasn’t as well-received when it first open seven years ago.

Anyways, here’s your first look at Friend as the hitman in “Agent 47.” The movie co-stars “Star Trek’s” Zachary Quinto, Hannah Ware as the love interest, and Emilio Rivera.

It’s already in production, so I’m guessing late 2014 release date, or thereabouts.

As for the plot, well, he’s a bald dude with a nice suit and a barcode on the back of his neck. Plus, he kills people. So you can pretty much guess the plot, right? Lots of cool action and silenced handguns going pfft! pfft! pfft! would be my guess.
