The narrator argues the film is "a laugh-out-loud, but ultimately kind of forgettable sequel."

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 had quite a challenge by following up what many consider Marvel Studios' finest film.
In the eyes of many, it more than succeeded. Though in the new Honest Trailer, released Tuesday, the comedy series' narrator dubs the James Gunn film "a laugh-out-loud, but ultimately kind of forgettable sequel." To stave off criticism, the narrator hastens to add that Guardians 2 is Marvel's finest sequel (aside from 2014's Captain America: Winter Soldier, obviously).
This movie was made for supercuts, and among those in the Honest Trailers are moments of various characters laughing at their own jokes ("Let's be honest, they aren't as hilarious as the characters think they are"), Dave Bautista's Drax being a lot more interested in sex than in the previous movie ("It would make my nether regions engorged") and Pom Klementieff's Mantis being insulted by everyone, including itself.
There's also a surprising point: The film is kind of like the Fast & Furious franchise when it comes to its obsession with your friends becoming your family.
