Got Talent has been named the world's most successful reality TV format ever by Guinness World Records.
The show has won the accolade after being commissioned in 58 territories around the globe, most recently in Kazakhstan, Brazil, Moldova and Iceland.
There are actually 59 versions of Got Talent around the world, as Belgium airs two editions of the format.
Got Talent has stolen the world record from previous holder Strictly Come Dancing, which has been sold to 38 countries as Dancing With The Stars.
"I am very proud that Got Talent is a home grown British show," said judge and creator Simon Cowell. "We owe its success to a group of very talented producers all over the world who have made this happen. And, of course, amazing talent."
Meanwhile, Guinness World Records president Alistair Richards confirmed: "We are delighted to confirm that Got Talent has broken the previous world record and is now the official Guinness World Record holder for the most successful reality television format, a landmark moment in television record breaking history. Congratulations!"
The new series of Britain's Got Talent will begin on Saturday (April 12) at 7.15pm on ITV.
