Hey, fans of medieval treachery, bloodletting, and bad guys winning and good guys getting the shaft, check out the first trailer for HBO’s “Game of Thrones” Season 4. Are you ready to scream at your TV as the bad guys rise triumphantly and the good guys get a knife in the back, and a white-haired chick walks around a desert fighting people and freeing slaves, while talking endlessly about going home, but never seem to be getting anywhere close to actually doing it?

Welcome to the world of Westeros! As the short fellow says, if you’ve come for justice, you be barkin’ up the wrong tree, yo.

George R.R. Martin is currently 5 books into his 7-book “A Song of Ice and Fire” series (the show is based on the books, FYI), and frankly I’m not optimistic the poor guy will ever end up finishing it. Dude ain’t exactly getting any younger, you know. And he sure seems to procrastinate an awful lot. I get the feeling ol George would rather do everything else but finish the series. Methinks he might not know how to bring it all together. I could be wrong, of course.

Anyways, if you’re a fan of fightin’, murderin’, backstabbin’, and plottin’, you’re in for a treat, cause there’s more of that in the coming season! All that and zombie wars, too! (Not really.)
