HBO released the Game of Thrones: Season 6 beat poetry synopsis for the upcoming premiere, "The Red Woman."

The tease for the April 24th episode reads: "Jon Snow is dead. Daenerys meets a strong man. Cersei sees her daughter again." "The Red Woman" is directed by Jeremy Podeswa and written by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.

While that's all hugely vague, it at least does confirm that Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen and Cersei Lannister (and Myrcella, seemingly) will appear in the forthcoming episode.

HBO also released the synopsis for the full season, which is slightly more embellished (though similarly vague):

"Following the shocking developments at the conclusion of season five, including Jon Snow’s bloody fate at the hands of Castle Black mutineers, Daenerys’ near-demise at the fighting pits of Meereen, and Cersei’s public humiliation in the streets of King’s Landing, survivors from all parts of Westeros and Essos regroup to press forward, inexorably, towards their uncertain individual fates. Familiar faces will forge new alliances to bolster their strategic chances at survival, while new characters will emerge to challenge the balance of power in the east, west, north and south."

Game of Thrones premieres Sunday, April 24th at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.
