The first half of The Flash‘s inaugural season may have given just a tease of the speedster’s classic Rogues Gallery, but it looks like the second half will be calling on more than fans thought likely. The latest casting keeps the parade of DC Comics villains going, with actress Peyton List (Mad Men, The Tomorrow People) cast as Lisa Snart a.k.a. Golden Glider.

The announcement comes courtesy of Access Hollywood, confirming our suspicions that with Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) now established in the show’s fiction, the way was paved for his little sister. However, the first details on List’s role show some serious differences from the comic book origin:

While Leonard is cold and calculating, Lisa is a wild child and anxious to prove to her older brother she’s got what it takes to be in his criminal gang. She is sly, charming, and even a little sadistic. She’s also not afraid to use her sexuality to get what she wants, which will put her on a collision course with S.T.A.R. Labs employee and friend of The Flash — Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes).

In the classic comics, Lisa joined forces with her brother, putting her skills as a figure skater to work in the line of crime (it’s possible) and taking the name ‘Golden Glider.’ In the New 52 reboot, Glider was given a new story: the specifics are unclear, but when an explosion leaves her in a coma, it’s an astral projection of Lisa that starts making trouble.

The synopsis offered by AH doesn’t offer any insight into which version of Lisa viewers may see, but it’s clear that Cisco Ramon’s weakness for a pretty face is going to steer him – and the rest of the S.T.A.R. Labs team – into trouble when she makes her debut in Episode 16 – suitably titled “Rogue Time”. Her casting also means another reunion is in store, with List and Robbie Amell (The Flash‘s Ronnie Raymond) having shared the screen (and a few love scenes) on The CW’s The Tomorrow People. It’s becoming clearer and clearer that joining The CW these days brings with it some job security.

Cisco will have some help (we hope) when Glider makes her first appearance on The Flash, as it was also announced that Sleepy Hollow‘s Nicholas Gonzalez (The O.C.) will also be introduced in Episode 16 as Dante Ramon, Cisco’s brother. Unfortunately, the details reported by TVLine may imply family drama to go along with Cisco’s romantic drama, with the charming older brother secretly resentful of Cisco’s brilliance.

The synopsis for the episode is still a mystery, but the producers have made no secret of the fact that a Rogue team-up is imminent. Beginning with Captain Cold and Heat Wave, Mark Hamill is set to reprise his role as Trickster not long after, and now an even more outlandish villain is confirmed as well. We’ve already offered a few other contenders for The Flash‘s metahuman ranks, so with Glider down, who’s next?

Are you Tomorrow People or Mad Men fans happy to see List join the cast (in a potentially recurring role)? Or do you have your doubts the a villain like Golden Glider can be faithfully adapted to the TV series?

The Flash airs Tuesdays @8pm on The CW.
