Marvel's WandaVision star Paul Bettany says fans will learn more about the upcoming Marvel Studios TV show very, very soon. The second MCU project for Disney+ follows Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and Bettany's Vision on a brand new adventure following the events of Avengers: Endgame. The series will also star Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as grown-up Monica Rambeau, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo and Katherine Hahn in a yet to be disclosed role. Meanwhile, Black Widow screenwriter Jac Schaeffer will serve as its showrunner.

Not much is known regarding plot details for WandaVision, but when it was announced at last year's San Diego Comic-Con, MCU architect Kevin Feige confirmed its story will directly connect to Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness with Olsen also reprising her role in the sequel. Originally set to roll out on Disney+ in spring 2021, the WandaVision release date was moved to 2020 with production already underway. Given this, it's not surprising Marvel Studios is planning on dropping more information about the series in the near future as Bettany recently said.

While promoting his latest project - Alan Ball's Uncle Frank, at this year's Sundance Film Festival - Bettany was asked about WandaVision. Obviously unable to dive into spoilers, the actor described the show as "bonkers," "out there" and "nuts." Despite this, he said that fans will soon learn more about the series "very, very soon." Bettany's recent comments about what fans can expect from the show back up how Feige described the series when it was confirmed at SDCC. People involved in the project also said that WandaVision will have a sitcom approach, which is something entirely new to the MCU. This aspect of WandaVision was visualized on the only promotional material released for the series thus far: a one-sheet poster that depicts Wanda and Vision in a classic '50s living room, as if living a normal family life. Those who are worried it's going to steer too far away from what's established in the franchise need not to worry as it'll supposedly progress to a more familiar format for which the MCU is known with their big screen offerings.

Since it was announced, many have offered their own theories as to what the show might actually be about. But before it can even get to its main premise, there's one looming mystery that needs to be resolved - how can Vision be alive? After dying at the hands of Thanos (Josh Brolin) in Avengers: Infinity War, the android wasn't resurrected in Endgame. And yet, WandaVision's one-sheet depicts him in his human form. Frankly, out of all the Marvel Studios/Disney+ series announced, this one is the most interesting. Aside from its mystery and a unique storytelling format, the fact that it will somehow lead to Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, it could break new ground for the MCU. Fortunately, it seems like marketing for WandaVision will soon ramp up.
