Arrow star Stephen Amell will take part in his first Singles wrestling match against Christopher Daniels at All In. Although he is usually seen taking down criminals with a bow and arrow on The CW, Amell is certainly no stranger to the squared circle. In 2015, the actor became involved in a feud with Cody Rhodes, then known as Stardust, in WWE which culminated in a Tag Team match at Summerslam with Amell and Neville (whose finisher is the Red Arrow, incidentally) taking on Stardust and Wade Barrett. Two years later, Amell would compete in the Ring of Honor promotion, teaming up with the likes of Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks to take on a rival tag team that featured none other than Christopher Daniels.

Billed as one of the biggest indie wrestling events in recent history, All In is set to take place at the Sears Center, Chicago on September 1st and is the brainchild of Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks. The card currently includes Rhodes vs. Nick Aldis for the NWA Heavyweight Championship, Marty Scurll vs. Kazuchika Okada and a six-man Tag match featuring Rey Mysterio. There are also rumors that CM Punk could make a surprise return at the event. In the build-up to All In, Stephen Amell has become embroiled in a heated rivalry with Christopher Daniels as part of The Young Bucks' Being The Elite YouTube series.

On the August 6th episode of Being The Elite, it was announced that Amell and Daniels would go one-on-one at the All In event, with the actor himself confirming the news on his Instagram page, promising a decisive victory and reminding everyone that he's technically still undefeated. Although the Arrow star has competed as a pro wrestler before, this match will mark his first Singles bout, having only previously competed in Tag Team matches.

Many celebrities dabble in the world of professional wrestling but few have done so with the level of passion and talent shown by Amell. The actor was impressive in his WWE debut and became firm friends with Cody Rhodes as a result, with the wrestler later appearing as Derek Sampson in Arrow. As such, it perhaps doesn't come as a huge surprise to see Cody take advantage of Amell's star-power for his big upcoming event.

It is, however, very interesting that the actor will be in Singles action for the first time. Usually when celebrities involve themselves in wrestling, the matches are Tag Team affairs, allowing the professionals to take on the brunt of the in-ring work and make the less experienced celebs look good. Although Amell has certainly been impressive in his wrestling career thus far, even taking a bump through a table in ROH, a one-on-one fight is a far more demanding prospect and although the veteran Daniels will surely be guiding him through the match, Amell will have to step-up his wrestling game if he is to continue impressing in the ring.

Arrow season 7 is set to premiere October 15th on The CW.
