Fall TV pilots 2015: The full list..

You’ll never see most of them. But that doesn’t mean they don’t exist—dozens of first episodes of prospective TV shows, all written, cast, shot and full of hope (and, largely, pretty lousy).

Some will end up on the 2015-16 schedule as the shiny new broadcast lineup. Others will vanish into tax write-off infamy. We’re still rooting for the big, traditional networks to put their pilots online, like Amazon, so we can properly judge them—rather than trusting network executives and mall focus groups to decide what gets on the air. (That’s how we end up with Bad Judge). Until then, we’ll just have to analyze each title based on its description.

The Adversaries
When the patriarch of a New York legal dynasty becomes embroiled in a trial of his own, his federal prosecutor daughter must decide which side she will fight on. David Zabel will write and executive-produce.

Tough, resourceful and at the top of her game, a type-A business woman has a medical scare, only to be dangerously misdiagnosed, and experiences firsthand the hazards of our healthcare system. Shocking her friends and family, she leaves her career behind, becoming instead a brilliant and relentless advocate for anyone caught in the chaotic and ever-changing maze that is modern medicine. Sheldon Turner will write and executive-produce with Jennifer Klein. Dr. Valerie Ulene and Byrdie Lifson-Pompan, principals of Clear Health Advisors will act as consulting producers.

Boom
The biggest oil discovery in American history (bigger than Texas and as big as Saudi Arabia) has triggered a geopolitical shift and an economic boom in North Dakota on a scale not seen since the American 1849 Gold Rush. The drama tracks the epic pilgrimage of a young, ambitious couple to the oil fields of the Bakken seeking their fortune and a better life, following their trials and tribulations in a modern day “Wild West”, they negotiate a colorful ensemble of roughnecks, grifters, oil barons, criminals, and fellow prospectors against a stark and beautiful backdrop. The Broad Squad
Inspired by true stories, the project follows the first four women to graduate from Boston’s Police Academy in 1978. Bess Wohl will write and executive-produce with Stephanie Savage, Josh Schwartz, Len Goldstein and Aaron Kaplan.

The Catch
A thriller about a woman about to get married and about to get conned. Unbeknownst to her slippery fiancé, our heroine–who investigates fraud for a living–is not all she claims to be. And when the fiancé’s expertly planned con collides with her perfectly constructed lies, they plunge into a dangerous game of cat and mouse. Jennifer Schuur will write and executive-produce with Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers, Helen Gregory, Kate Atkinson and Julie Anne Robinson.

When his sister is found dead during her freshman year at an elite Ivy League university, a young man adopts a new identity to infiltrate the school and its century-old secret society – consisting of privileged students, ambitious faculty, and high-profile alums – in order to investigate her death. Sallie Patrick will write and executive-produce.

L.A. Crime
A character-driven, true-crime procedural that explores sex, politics and popular culture across various noteworthy eras in L.A. history. Season one focuses on two LA cops in search for a Bonnie & Clyde-esque serial killing team amidst the rock-and-roll, coke-infused revelry of the 1980s Sunset Strip. Steven Baigelman will write and executive-produce with Mandeville Television.

A one-hour dramedy that explores the realities of modern-day families—multi-cultural, multi-generational, built through divorces, affairs and adoptions—set against the backdrop of a revered family restaurant at a crossroads. Jennifer Cecil will write and executive-produce with Le Train Train, Rashida Jones and Will McCormack.

Of Kings and Prophets
An epic Biblical saga of faith, ambition and betrayal as told through the eyes of a battle-weary king, a powerful and resentful prophet and a resourceful young shepherd on a collision course with destiny. Written by Adam Cooper and Bill Collage and executive-produced by Jason Reed, Reza Aslan and Mahyad Tousi.

Quantico
A group of young FBI recruits, all with specific reasons for joining, battle their way through training at the Quantico base in Virginia. The drama intercuts between their hidden pasts and their present training, while also flashing-forward to the near future, where one of the recruits will turn out to be a sleeper terrorist responsible for the most devastating terrorist attack on U.S. soil since 9/11. Josh Safran will write and executive-produce with The Mark Gordon Company.

Runner
Based on the Turkish series Son, the drama follows Lauren Marks, who believes she is leading a perfect life until it’s ripped apart by one simple twist of fate. To uncover the truth, she must follow a trail of lies that take her into the world of cartels and the illegal gun trade between the U.S. and Mexico. Michael Clooney will write and executive-produce with Ian Sander, Kim Moses and Jon Cowan.

Untitled Jenna Bans project
The return of a local politician’s young son, formerly presumed dead after disappearing over a decade earlier, sends shockwaves through his tight knit family. But as the mysterious young man is welcomed back into his community, the neighbor sitting in jail for his murder is released and the cop responsible is forced to reexamine what truly happened so many years ago. Jenna Bans will write and executive-produce with David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman and Laurie Zaks.

The Brainy Bunch
Through a combination of genetics and dynamic home schooling, Kip and Mona Lisa Mitchell find themselves raising extraordinarily intelligent kids. When Kip returns home from the military to be a stay at home dad, he experiences firsthand the challenges of parenting kids who have genius IQ’s, but limited life and social skills. Wendy and Lizzie Molyneux will write and executive-produce the project inspired by the book of the same title by Kip and Mona Lisa Harding.

A comedy starring Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo as two baby boomers who are fun, relevant and living a selfish retirement when their world is turned upsisde down and they are suddenly left to raise their grandchildren. Brad Copeland will write and executive-produce with Aaron Kaplan.

Delores & Jermaine
Based on the life of comedian Jermaine Fowler, this multi-camera comedy features an odd couple for the new generation. Fowler stars as a millennial with big ideas, but very little drive, who moves in with his estranged grandmother, a strict, football-loving, former D.C. cop who needs his youthful enthusiasm in her life as much as he needs her old school parenting. Danny Chun and Fowler will write and executive-produce with Michael Rotenberg and Avi Gilbert.

Dr. Ken
Community’s Ken Jeong stars as a frustrated HMO doctor juggling medicine, marriage and parenting—and succeeding at none of them.

Family Fortune
A comedy about a popular gym teacher (Fortune Feimster) in Georgia who comes out of the closet to her close-knit group of family and friends. What she doesn’t realize is that she will also have to deal with her bickering and happily divorced parents also “coming out” that they are sleeping together again. Feimster and Matt Hubbard will write and executive-produce with Robert Carlock and Tina Fey.

The 46 Percenters
An anti-romantic, romantic comedy about the 46-percent of the population who choose to stay married, told through the POV of three couples. Sherry Bilsing-Graham and Ellen Kreamer will write and executive-produce.

Irreversible
Based on the Israeli series Bilti Hafich, the partially improvised comedy centers on Andy (Justin Long) and Sarah, a somewhat eccentric, self-absorbed couple, and their trials and tribulations, many of which they bring on themselves. Original series co-creator Segahl Avin will write and executive-produce with Peter Tolan and Michael Wimer.

The King of 7B
In this ensemble comedy, an agoraphobic recluse ventures outside for the first time in 20 years when he spies what could be his soul mate moving into the building across the street, Prentiss Porter will embark on an incredible journey of discovery right outside his front door. Howard Franklin will write and executive-produce with Dan Fogelman and Ben Karlin.

Uncle Buck
Based on the classic movie, Uncle Buck is a multi-camera family comedy about a childish man who learns how to be an adult by taking care of his brother’s kids in a very childish way. Steven Cragg and Brian Bradley will write and executive-produce with Will Packer.

Untitled Dan Savage project
Based on the life of boundary-pushing columnist Dan Savage, a picture perfect family is turned upside down when the youngest son comes out of the closet. What seems like the end of their idyllic life turns out to be the beginning of a bright new chapter when everyone stops pretending to be perfect and actually starts being real. David Windsor and Casey Johnson will write and executive-produce with Savage, Brian Pines and Dan McDermott.

Untitled Johnny Knoxville pilot
Narrated by Johnny Knoxville and based on his life, this family comedy follows the exploits of 12- year-old Johnny navigating the “outlaw culture” of his family and small hometown of Knoxville, TN., and documents the childhood experiences that inspired him to become one of the greatest pranksters of a generation. Victor Fresco will write and executive-produce with Knoxville and Michael Rotenberg.

When a Tony award winning mother and a risk averse, cerebral father are blessed with a son who is a natural born competitive athlete, they are forced outside their parental comfort zones and into the high octane world of youth sports. Judah Miller will write and executive-produce with Tom Lassally and Jonathan Berry.

A buddy comedy set in the world of the NBA about a rookie who doesn’t speak English and a translator who doesn’t speak basketball. David Windsor and Casey Johnson will write and executive-produce with Dan Fogelman, Mike Tollin, Peter Guber and Aaron Kaplan.

Code Black
Medical drama set in the busiest and most notorious ER in the nation – LA County Hospital – where the extraordinary staff confronts a broken system in order to protect their ideals and the patients who need them the most. Michael Seitzman will write and executive-produce with David Semel, Marti Noxon, Linda Goldstein-Knowlton and Ryan McGarry, who produced and directed the feature documentary the show is based on.

Criminal Minds spin-off (embedded pilot)
Focuses on a division of the FBI that helps American citizens who find themselves in trouble abroad. Erica Messer will write and executive-produce with Mark Gordon and Nick Pepper.

Doubt
A smart, chic, successful defense lawyer at a boutique firm shockingly gets romantically involved with one of her clients who may or may not be guilty of a brutal crime. Tony Phelan and John Rater will write and executive-produce with Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly.

For Justice
Based on James Patterson’s debut novel The Thomas Berryman Number, the drama follows an FBI agent who works in the Criminal Section of the Department of Civil Rights Division that finds herself caught between the radical family she was born into and the professional family she has chosen. Rene Balcer will write and executive-produce with Patterson, Robert DeNiro, Jane Rosenthal, Bill Robinson, Leopoldo Gout and Berry Welsh.

LFE
A high-octane medical procedural centering on second-year residents at New York City’s top hospital as they attempt to balance their god complexes with their humanity. Paul Downs Colaizzo will write and executive-produce with Dan Jinks.

Limitless
Based on the 2011 feature starring Bradley Cooper, the drama follows Brian Sinclair as he discovers the power of the mysterious drug NZT, and is coerced into using his newfound drug-enhanced abilities to solve weekly cases for the FBI. Craig Sweeny will write and executive-produce with Cooper, Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Heather Kadin, Todd Phillips, Ryan Kavanaugh, Tucker Tooley, Tom Forman, Andrew Marcus, Ray Ricord and original film director Neil Berger, who will also helm the pilot.

Rush Hour
A stoic, by-the-book Hong Kong police officer is assigned to a case in Los Angeles where he’s forced to work with a cocky African-American LAPD officer who has no interest in a partner. Bill Lawrence and Blake McCormick will write and executive-produce the project, based on the New Line Cinema feature film of the same name, with Brett Ratner, Arthur Sarkissian and Jeff Ingold.

Sneaky Pete
Upon leaving prison, a thirty-something con man takes cover from his past by assuming the identity of a cellmate. “Sneaky Pete” then hides out from his debtors while working for his new “family’s” bail bond business. There he uses his considerable charm and criminal prowess to take down bad guys far worse than himself, partnering with a very attractive female “cousin,” who has her suspicions about his real motives. David Shore and Bryan Cranston will write and executive-produce with James Degus and Erin Gunn.

Supergirl (series commitment)
Born on the planet Krypton, Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist) escaped amid its destruction years ago. Since arriving on Earth, she’s been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be. Greg Berlanti and Ali Alder will write and executive-produce the project, which has a series commitment, with Sarah Schechter.

Angel from Hell
When Amy enters Allison’s life and claims to be her guardian angel, they form an unlikely friendship and Allison can’t be sure if Amy is an angel or just nuts. Tad Quill will write and executive-produce.

Newly divorced dad revels in the fact that he now gets to keep half his stuff, which is more than he ever had when he was married. Mike Gibbons will write and executive-produce.

Joe is a family man who struggles with the fact that everyone around him is pursuing their dreams and enjoying their lives more than he is. Bill Wrubel will write and executive-produce.

Life in Pieces
A comedy about one family told through the separate stories of its different family members. Justin Adler will write and executive-produce with Aaron Kaplan.

The Mistake
A couple who had just “finished” raising their kids discovers they are pregnant. Shana Goldberg-Meehan, Scott Silveri and David Mandel will write and executive-produce with Andy Ackerman.

Super Clyde
A meek, unassuming fast-food worker finds his calling. The comedy, which was initially developed in 2013 and starred Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint, will be written and executive-produced by Greg Garcia.

Taxi-22
Based on the French-Canadian series of the same name, the comedy follows a misanthropic and politically incorrect New York City cab driver (John Leguizamo). Tad Quill will write and executive-produce with Leguizamo, Francois Flamand, Patrick Huard, Nancy Sanders, Mark Armstrong, Dennis Erdman, Clark Peterson, James Gandolfini, Jeff Golenberg, Sam Maydew.

Untitled Tommy Johnagin project
Inspired by the life of comedian Tommy Johnagin, the comedy follows a standup comic raising a family in the small Midwestern town where he grew up. Johnagin, Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker will write and executive-produce with Bill Lawrence and Jeff Ingold.

A comedy about a group of friends and family at three different times in their lives. Dan O’Shannon and Peter Warren will write and executive-produce with Dennis Erdman, Clark Peterson and Eric and Kim Tannenbaum.

Cheerleader Death Squad
When a disgraced CIA agent-turned-teacher at an elite Washington DC prep school realizes that his students have high level access through personal connections, he trains a select few to be his eyes and ears into the world of international espionage and help him earn his way back into the agency. Marc Cherry, Neal Baer and Dan Truly will write and executive-produce with Sabrina Wind.

Cordon
When a deadly epidemic breaks out in Atlanta, a large city quarantine is quickly enforced, leaving those stuck on the inside to fight for their lives. Based upon the original Belgian series, Cordon tells the story of loved ones tragically torn apart, and how the society that grows inside the cordon reveals both the devolution of humanity and the birth of unlikely heroes. Julie Plec will write and executive-produce with David Nutter.

After a near-death experience, a down-on-his-luck, semi-alcoholic but roguishly charming cab driver suddenly has the ability to interact with ghosts, including his late ex-wife who he has never gotten over. Tom Kapinos will write and executive-produce with Bad Robot Productions.

A reinvention of the ’80s horror/fantasy/thriller anthology series created by George R. Romero. Joe Hill will write and executive-produce with Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Heather Kadin, Mitch Galin and Jerry Golod.

Frankenstein
Ray Pritchard, a morally corrupt retired cop, is given a second chance at life when he is brought back from the dead. Now younger and stronger, Pritchard will have to choose between his old temptations and his new sense of purpose. Rand Ravich will write and executive-produce with Howard Gordon.

Luther (cast contingent)
Based on the format and from the same creators of the successful and award-winning BBC series, the drama centers on John Luther, a near-genius murder detective whose brilliant mind can’t always save him from the dangerous violence of his passions. Neil Cross will write and executive-produce with Peter Chernin, Katherine Pope, Jane Tranter, Julie Gardner and Idris Elba.

Minority Report
Set 10 years after the events of the film—which concluded with law enforcement’s Precrime division being disbanded—the project follows one Precog, still plagued by visions, who teams with a female detective who is haunted by her past. Max Borenstein will write and executive-produce with Kevin Falls, Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank.

Rosewood
This close-ended, investigative series centers around the brilliant Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, Jr., the top private pathologist in all of Miami. As owner of one of the most sophisticated, state-of-the-art independent labs in the country, he finds the secrets in bodies that others usually miss. Despite being constantly surrounded by death, Rosewood is obsessed with life and savors every moment. His eternal optimism will frustrate the cynical female detective he often works with, but she can’t argue with the results that his unique perspective provides. Todd Harthan will write and executive-produce with Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen.

Inspired by Krista Vernoff’s real-life experience, it’s the story of a young singer’s path to stardom as she comes of age living with her songwriter father (Eric McCormack), who turns out to be a drug dealer to the stars. Vernoff will write and executive-prodice with John Wells and Andrew Stearn.

Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life
A single camera comedy that celebrates the mistakes and misadventures we all make during the years after college before settling down. Jay Lacopo will write and executive-produce with Gail Berman.

Detour
Inspired by the real life story of Weezer lead singer Rivers Cuomo, a rock star who made the unexpected choice at the age of 30 to quit his band and go back to college. Steve Franks will write and executive-produce with Cuomo, Willie Mercer, Chris Henze and Dan Field.

Fantasy Life
When a hard-working guy (Kevin Connolly) lands his ultimate dream job hosting a fantasy football show, he’s forced to navigate office politics while becoming the star he never thought he could be. Based on the best-selling book of the same name by Matthew Berry, the project will be written by Tim McAuliffe, who will also executive-produce with Berry, Connolly, Michael Rotenberg, Jonathan Berry, Greg Walter and Troy Zien.

48 Hours ‘Til Monday
The project centers on one husband’s desperate struggle to not let every weekend go completely to hell. Charlie Grandy will write and executive-produce with Peter Traugott and Rachel Kaplan.

The Grinder
Rob Lowe stars as beloved TV lawyer Dean Sanderson (aka “The Grinder”). When his long-running hit series comes to an end, he finds himself at a crossroads in life and decides to move back to his small hometown thinking he has the experience to take over his family’s law firm. Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel will write and executive-produce with Lowe, Nicholas Stoller and Jake Kasdan, who will also direct the pilot.

Scream Queens (straight-to-series-order)
The first installment of the anthology series tells the story of a college campus that’s rocked by a series of murders. Ordered straight to series, the 15-episode project hails from Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan and Dante Di Loreto.

A multi-camera family comedy told from the point-of-view of a working mom (Jenna Elfman) who is in constant competition with her perfect, stay-at-home sister-in-law.

A longtime bachelor’s (John Stamos) life is upended when he discovers he’s a father—and a grandfather. Danny Chun will write and executive-produce with Stamos and Dan Fogelman.

Blindspot
A beautiful woman with no memories of her past is found naked in Times Square with her body fully covered in intricate tattoos. Her discovery sets off a vast and complex mystery that immediately ignites the attention of the FBI, who begin to follow the road map on her body to reveal a larger conspiracy of crime while bringing her closer to discovering the truth about her identity. Martin Gero will write and executive-produce with Greg Berlanti.

An integrated episode of Chicago Fire could lay the groundwork for another spin-off that focuses on the lives of those working in a Chicago hospital. Chicago Fire creators Derek Haas and Michael Brandt will write and executive-produce with Matt Olmstead and Dick Wolf.

The Curse of the Fuentes Women
When a magical and mysterious young man (Adan Canto) inexplicably emerges from the ocean, he breathes new passion into the lives of the Fuentes women—the beautiful but lonely Lola, her ailing mother Esperanza and her troubled daughter Soledad. Silvio Horta will write and executive-produce with Andrew Maher.

Endgame
In the high stakes world of Las Vegas, a former sniper turned security expert is drawn into a mysterious conspiracy that forces him to complete a series of heroic challenges in order to save innocent lives. John Rogers will write and executive-produce with John Davis and John Fox.

Based on the Turkish series Suskunlar, the drama follows a rising attorney (David Lyons) on the brink of success who could lose his perfectly-crafted life when his long lost childhood friends threaten to expose a dark secret from their violent past. David Hudgins will write and executive-produce with Carol Mendelsohn, Julie Weitz, Timur Savci and Tariq Jahil.

Heart Matters
Inspired by the life of Dr. Kathy Magliato, the medical soap follows the outspoken Alex Panttiere, one of the rare female heart transplant surgeons. Alex brings an innovative eye to treating patients week to week, while also balancing the complications of her professional and romantic life. Jill Gordon will write and executive-produce with Magliato, Amy Brenneman, Brad Silberling, Kelly Meyer and Susan and Eric Carlson.

Race, sexuality and gender roles collide when three diverse couples put modern marriage to the test. Diana Son will write and executive-produce with Mikkel Bondesen and Kristen Campo.

Unveiled
From prolific producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey, the drama follows an ensemble of flawed guardian angels who intervene in the lives of those who find themselves facing crisis in an attempt to restore their faith and, often, save their lives. John Sakmar and Kerry Lenhart will write and executive-produce with Burnett and Downey.

In a grounded, contemporary multicultural and sometimes magical milieu, a damaged heroine (Natalie Martinez) works undercover with physical and spiritual guidance from a mysterious martial arts master to bring down an international crime lord. Cuckoo
Based on the British series, a daughter comes back from a summer abroad married to a charming but infuriating eccentric named Cuckoo, much to her father’s annoyance. Tim Long, Robin French and Kieron Quirke will write and executive-produce with Ash Atalla.

Inspired by the stand-up of Jerrod Carmichael and his relationships with his girlfriend and family. Carmichael and Nick Stoller will write and executive-produce with Ravi Nandan.

How We Live
An anthropologist blogger moves to the suburbs with his wife and quickly discovers the fascinating habitat and mating rituals of a new undiscovered species: his suburban friends and neighbors. Steven Cragg and Brian Bradley will write and executive-produce with David Janollari.

People Are Talking
A multi-camera comedy examining sex, race, and everything else your parents told you never to talk about. DJ Nash will write and executive-produce with Will Packer and Korin Huggins.
