"Dumb and Dumber 2" Spoofs Scarlett Johansson’s "Lucy"

Universal’s latest promotional campaign for “Dumb and Dumber To” is strikingly similar to its marketing material for “Lucy.”

Stars Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are the antithesis of Scarlett Johansson, whose character Lucy mistakenly ingests a drug that gives her access to 100% of her brain power, in two movie posters that the actors tweeted out on Friday.

“The average person uses 10% of their brain capacity,” Carrey and Daniels’ posters read. “Imagine what he could do with 1%.”

The clever spoof also indirectly pokes fun of the tagline based on the fallacy that “humans only use 10% of their brains.”

“Dumb and Dumber To,” directed by Bobby and Peter Ferrelly, follows the two pals on a road trip to find the child Harry never knew he had. The comedy hits theaters on November 14
