DON'T Tell The Bride fans were left horrified by a groom's Loch Ness monster themed wedding tonight.

Joiner Calvin, 31, dragged his 27-week pregnant bride, who he met on Tinder just seven months earlier, 120 miles from their home in Aberdeen to tie the knot in the middle of Loch Ness.

And that's not all, as he made the 24-year-old hairdresser glide down the 'aisle' on a water-logged Loch Ness monster boat, taking an hour to reach their jetty alter.

Shocked viewers tweeted: "You couldn't pick a worse location" and "what an idiot".

And it wasn't just people at home who thought the idea was a bit bonkers.

One of Calvin's own groomsmen dismissed the plan as "absolutely ridiculous", and a local ship captain warned Leanne could be dead within 10 minutes if she fell in during the journey.

Leanne's mum travelled with her on the bumpy Loch Ness boat, and told her future son-in-law: “We’re drowning Calvin and you’re f***ing dead!” as they arrived at the alter.

Luckily the guests were out of ear shot for her foul-mouthed rant, but that's not all they missed.

With no speakers on the cold beach where they watched the ceremony, the guests couldn't hear a word of what was being said.

After blowing £3,000 of his budget on a souvenir shop for the wedding reception, which he had to cancel at the last minute, Calvin was forced to hold the evening 'do in a marquee in a pub garden - with guests forking out for their own food and drink.

And their friends and family were far from impressed, with one bloke telling the cameras: “This is the worst wedding I’ve ever been at”, and others walking out.

Leanne, who said she hates the sea, was hoping for a "nice, normal wedding", but patriotic Scot Calvin said his big day would "make any Scotsman proud" - although viewers at home disagreed.

Previously on Don't Tell The Bride, this groom organised a ‘tacky’ winter wonderland wedding for bride who HATES snow and ice.
