The anthology will get a bigger platform and join other crime-focused fare like 'The Sinner' in its new home.

Dirty John is changing its residence.

The scripted anthology is moving from its original home at Bravo to fellow NBCUniversal-owned cabler USA Network. Season two of the series will air in 2020. Sources say producers have a new subject in mind that is currently being refined. It's unclear if any of the season one cast, including star Connie Britton and Eric Bana, will return.

The move will give the drama a larger platform on USA for which to find an audience in its previously announced second season, while also allowing Bravo to focus more on premium unscripted fare, returning and new series in the short-term. Dirty John launched as Bravo's most successful scripted series and wrapped its eight-episode freshman run with 1.84 million same-day viewers, up 23 percent week over week.
