A new Justice Leauge photo has surfaced showcasing Barry Allen’s secret hideout, as well as all the monitors he has on in the background. The movie hits theaters in just over two months and anticipation is running high for the DC Comics superhero squad’s first live-action team-up on the big screen. In addition to bringing back Superman (Henry Cavill), Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), the upcoming comic book movie will fully introduce audiences to Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and of course, The Flash (Ezra Miller).

Thanks to the ongoing Flash TV show, there are millions of casual fans from around the world who are now more intimately familiar with the Scarlet Speedster, though the DC Extended Universe version will be decidedly different; something that will go hand-in-hand with the movie and the shared universe’s new direction. Miller made his debut as the iconic DC Comics speedster in Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice last year, and he will be making his full introduction in the filmmaker’s Justice League later this year – and now, we have a new photo showing off his secret lair.

The new Justice Leauge photo released by Warner Bros. (via Imgur) is from the same scene that was described during last year’s Justice League set visit, which Screen Rant had attended, as well as the one that was shown in the first Justice League San Diego Comic-Con trailer. Take a look:


When the scene was first revealed, people attempted to uncover the character and the movie’s secrets by analyzing the monitors in the background – but all they really discovered was that Barry’s a major Rick & Morty fan. It was a tad bit difficult to examine the monitors by pausing the playing the trailer, so Warner Bros. has now finally revealed the background in its entirety for people, such as ourselves, to overanalyze for easter eggs and various other references.

The most prominent thing that pops out when examining the monitors is that Barry appears to be designing and testing his homemade suit; the same one that he has been seen wearing in all the movie’s marketing material thus far. Furthermore, to the bottom right, one can see the speedster analyzing fingerprints, thus indicating that he’s a crime scene investigator just like he is in the comics. Perhaps he’s trying to uncover the identity of the person who murdered his mother? Another interesting tidbit is the photo of Nikola Tesla on his desk. Since Barry Allen obtains his super speed by accessing the Speed Force, it makes sense that he would look to Tesla for guidance on how to construct the perfect super suit. After all, Barry is essentially a living version of Telsa’s coils.
