Deepika Padukone wants to be the Minister of Swachh Bharat

Undoubtedly one of the most successful actresses in recent times, Deepika Padukone makes headlines almost everyday. Other than being the ultimate glam queen that she is, Deepika is immensely loved by fans for always being supremely empathetic. Present for an awards function recently, DP was asked about her views on politics and the actress said that she doesn’t have much knowledge about it but sure has some plans.

Commenting on the same, the Chhapaak actress said that she would like to be the Minister for Swachh Bharat given her obsession with cleanliness. Deepika even recalled a hilarious incident from her childhood back when people used to call her home for stay overs only so to get their bedrooms and wardrobes cleaned.

On the work front, Deepika will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak which is based on the life of acid attack survivor, Laxmi. The film stars Vikrant Massey opposite Deepika. Film’s preps have already started and the film will go on floors soon.
