The first official clip of the now famous fight between Colossus and Juggernaut from Deadpool 2 has been released online. The sequel to 2016's Deadpool, the success of Deadpool 2 has shocked many by out-grossing Solo: A Star Wars Story on its opening weekend.

Colossus and Juggernaut have a long rivalry in the classic Marvel Comics. At first, this was because of their status as physical powerhouses, with Colossus having the power to increase his strength and durability by transforming his body into organic steel, whereas Juggernaut is heir to the power of Cyttorak - one of the many beings who grant power to magicians in the Marvel Universe. Their feud became more pronounced after Cyttorak briefly gave a fraction of his power to Colossus during the Fear Itself event, after Juggernaut abandoned his patron in favor of the gifts of a long-dead god called The Serpent.

The brief clip from the much longer fight between Juggernaut and X-Men team member Colossus in Deadpool 2 can be viewed above. The actual fight clip is rather brief, and tacked onto the beginning of a video montage of various trailers promoting Deadpool 2.

The film's use of Juggernaut as a guest villain was one of Deadpool 2's best kept secrets and one of the best surprises in the film. While this isn't technically the first appearance of Juggernaut in an X-Men movie, most fans of the character from the comics were ill-pleased by his appearance in X-Men: The Last Stand. Little more than an extended cameo, Juggernaut's appearance in the movie did nothing to reference his relationship to Professor Charles Xavier and reduced him to the role of one more mutant rather than an epic foe requiring all of the X-Men working together to defeat him. The Juggernaut seen in Deadpool 2 is more true to form.

The rest of the video montage proves equally entertaining, including a Deadpool 2 video which paid tribute to the opening of the classic situation comedy The Golden Girls - a fitting gag given Deadpool's love of the show in general (and Bea Arthur in particular) in the original Deadpool comics. The video concludes with a long list of affirmative comments by professional critics, taken from the many positive reviews of Deadpool 2, as well as a funny gag involving another one of the movie's more shocking scenes, which involved a tribute to the movie Basic Instinct.
