Dark Horse Comics is expanding its partnership with Disney with two new graphic novels spinning out of live-action projects, following the publisher’s treatment of the studio’s animated movies to this point.

The Oregon-based publisher will release Disney Dumbo: Friends in High Places, an anthology of stories based on the upcoming Tim Burton adaptation of the animated classic, in March, followed by Disney Aladdin in late April, it has been revealed. Like the Dumbo release, it will be a collection of stories written by one sole writer; John Jackson Miller for Dumbo and Corinna Bechko for Aladdin. Artists on the projects include Giovanni Rigano, Alberto Zanon, Paolo Antista, Michela Bovo and Pablo Vite.

Each title will be a 72-page paperback available for $10.99.

The partnership between Disney and Dark Horse was unveiled last year, and has so far included comic book releases based on Frozen, Zootopia and The Incredibles 2, amongst animated properties.

Disney’s deal with Dark Horse follows a similar deal with IDW Entertainment for kids comics based on Star Wars and the Marvel characters; Disney, of course, already owns the most successful comic book company in the U.S. market, in Marvel Entertainment.

Disney Dumbo: Friends in High Places will be released March 29. Disney Aladdin will be released April 30.
