The match more than 30 years in the making is getting closer.

In the new trailer for Creed II, Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) looks to take on the son of Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren), the Soviet boxer who killed his father Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) in the boxing ring. One person who doesn't want to see this battle of legacies is Rocky (Sylvester Stallone), who was there when his best friend Apollo died.

Creed II follows up the 2015 continuation of the Rocky franchise that was directed by Jordan's frequent collaborator Ryan Coogler. This time it's Sundance filmmaker Steven Caple Jr. behind the camera, who directed from a script by Stallone and Luke Cage showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker. Tessa Thompson returns as Bianca, while boxer Florian Munteanu plays Drago's son. Lundgren also returns as the elder Drago, reprising his role from 1985's Rocky IV.

Creed II hits theaters Nov. 21.
