Chris Hemsworth suits up in the first set photos from Men in Black's still untitled spinoff as filming begins. Hemsworth broke onto the Hollywood scene with his role as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With Avengers 4 possibly marking the end of his tenure, he's now looking for another franchise to call home. Hemsworth found a potential contender to fill that void in Sony's reboot/spinoff of Men in Black, one that will re-team Hemsworth with Tessa Thompson, his Thor: Ragnarok co-star. The two will be the lead agents of the London branch of the titular secret organization.

Men in Black's spinoff has really come together as the year has gone on, starting with the hiring of F. Gary Gray as its director. The project hasn't hit a snag since, and has only continued to add high quality cast members around Hemsworth and Thompson. More details on the movie could come soon, as Hemsworth has been spotted on set, kicking off the start of production.

Just Jared snapped the first set photos of Men in Black's spinoff to commemorate production officially starting. Hemsworth is the star of the photos, although they aren't particularly revealing on their own. The Men in Black have a very strict dress code and Hemsworth is abiding to it, as he wears the last suit he'll ever need. No additional character or plot details can be gleamed from them either, so the big takeaway is that filming is now underway on Men in Black - with the bonus being Hemsworth unsurprisingly rocking the franchise's signature attire.

Now that filming has begun on the untitled Men in Black spinoff, it may not be long until additional looks surface. The movie is filming overseas in London, but so far Hemsworth is the only actor known to be on set. There's no telling how public principal photography will actually be, as the movie will likely require a decent amount of visual effects work, depending on the creatures and places the agents interact with.

In addition to Hemsworth and Thompson, Men in Black's spinoff boasts a strong supporting cast. Liam Neeson is heading up the London branch and will oversee the various agents. Kumail Nanjiani, meanwhile, looks to be the third member of Hemsworth and Thompson's trio, a wise-cracking alien sidekick. There's even been recent casting news that included Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom's Rafe Spall, possibly as the film's villain. A few other cast members could still be announced as filming progresses though. For now, set photos like these may be the primary source of information for Men in Black, unless Sony drops some surprises at San Diego Comic-Con in a few weeks.
